I'm a senior cybersecurity researcher
and Certified Professional Ethical Hacker (CPEH)

I received my doctoral degree (Dr.Sc. Tech) from the University of Oulu (Finland). Over the years, I have gained good experience in short-range wireless communications and cybersecurity solutions leveraging physical layer security. My research focuses on multilevel cybersecurity with a special interest in critical infrastructure systems and next generation networks. I'm IEEE Senior Member and I have been TPC member in several conferences and reviewer in IEEE Transactions. I hold five patents (wireless communications and positioning).
Today, I'm Assistant Professor at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and work on projects in collaboration with CINI National Laboratory for Cybesecurity. In addition, since 2021 I have been teaching Security and Risk: management and certifications at the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity at the University of Padua.

Today, technology is more pervasive in our lives and security is an area that can be viewed from multidisciplinary perspectives.

Security engineering needs cross–disciplinary expertise. The skills required today range from software, hardware and processes to economics and law. This scenario motivated a multilevel investigation...

Physical layer security

PhySec provides secure communications against an eavesdropper exploiting wireless channel imperfections, such as fading, multipath and interference.

Security Protocol

A security protocols secure communications by applying cryptographic mechanisms at upper layers of the OSI model than physical layer.

Ethical Hacking

The purpose of the ethical hacking is to evaluate the security of systems at multiple levels and identifying systems' vulnerabilities useful for designers.
